A heckuva week for the Republicans

It's been the Week from Hell for the Republican Party.

In addition to their continuing slide in the opinion polls, scandal after scandal has rocked the White House this week, each one more jaw-dropping than the last. "So what's new?" you might ask "after all, isn't scandal what we've come to expect from this administration?"

Well yes, I suppose it is, but this week has been particularly bad. Which is definitely double plus ungood for the GOP when you consider that the Mid-Term elections are now less than 72 hours away.
